Firestarters Branding & Website

Brief

Firestarters need to update their brand & website to help them communicate with relevance to their primary audiences (Gen Alpha & Gen Z). Previous design iterations haven’t come to completion for various reasons and it’s time to start a fresh.

There’s a need to modernise and move forward with the brand. They have no visual reference other than being simpler and fit for the target audience.

The Firestarters tagline is: A GENERATION SET ON FIRE FOR JESUS TO BE SPARKS OF REVIVAL.

They align greatly with mission entities like The Send - prayer, evangelism, worship and run trips. This summer they were in Wales and saw 70 young people come to faith!

Four supporting values are:

  1. Passion for Jesus

  2. Family as God intended (community etc)

  3. Growing in boldness and faith

  4. Raising and equipping young leaders. 

There’s no fixed date for this to be completed but keen to do so soon.

Brand Experience

For this project your primary designer will be John Metcalfe (lead UK & Ireland designer for The Send) and delivered design projects for Kingdom Come Missionary School and St Hild Theological College (Camino) and David’s Tent.

John will be supported by Ben Elliott - design projects include Yorkshire Baptist Association, Edinburgh Vineyard, The Well Sheffield, St Thomas’s Crookes, Seek First worship, St Helen’s Parish Church, Seedbed, CPO, Arise, Together for Sheffield + more

Website

This proposal is based on us using Squarespace 7.1 to create you a new, beautiful and easy to use website that you can manage yourselves going forward.

Squarespace is adaptable to all devices, editable in real time and updated to respond to emerging trends and technologies.

I’ve produced over 200 websites using this platform and trust it for small charities and businesses as a foundation for effective digital communications and signposting.

The platform has regular, incremental updates helping provide users with the opportunity to keep their websites fresh and relevant for visitors.

The annual cost (made payable to Squarespace) is around £200.

Brand Investment

Deliverables:

  • New logo,

  • Font selection

  • Style guide with colours + HEX codes

TOTAL: £400

This has a mission partner discount applied.

Process:

  1. Ideation and mood board

  2. 1-3 concepts (sometimes we’ll provide 1 clear idea to focus upon as per major agency projects. This depends on the mood board and ideation process and our recommendation for the design).

  3. Feedback and amends as needed

  4. Final delivery

Additional amends or work beyond this will need to be quoted for.

Website Investment

Deliverables:

  • New website built using Squarespace

  • Brand applied

  • Website complete with booking functionality, events, donations, images, social media integration

TOTAL: £1,500

+ Annual Squarespace charge, made payable via the platform to Squarespace, around £200 per year.

This has a mission partner discount applied.

Process:

  1. We use the previous website content to plan the site map

  2. Build this in Squarespace

  3. Add the branding and assets

  4. Connect various admin elements (to receive payments etc)

  5. Review / Amends / Sign Off

  6. Domain attached and go live
