Option 3
Following our discussion, here’s a proposed way forward to deliver your new website.
Three
This effectively is a mixture of 1+2. Here’s the proposed plan:
We take the core content of your existing websites written copy & build a framework website using Squarespace and taking inspiration from Manchester Vineyard (2-3 work turnaround).
Design is clean and contemporary.
You edit the written copy to better reflect where you are now as a church. We will have left sections with instructions and suggestions of copy you should consider writing to help make this a fluid and enjoyable process (ideally completed over 1-2 weeks)
We (or you) arrange photographic content to be captured which reflects life of the church.
Photography added, any tweaks and adjusts made. Working towards a delivery for the end of August.
INVESTMENT
Investment required £2,100-£3,000 (+Ss Annual charges)

June 2023
Hey!
Hey Ben, Kate & the Edinburgh Vineyard church family. It’s so awesome to see you guys following God’s call and investing in this awesome city.
Thank you for enquiring about BE Creative producing a new website with you. On this page, in simple terms, we’ve outlined our process, how we would approach the build, the investment options and ideas around how this could be delivered.
Existing website
19.5.23
As I mentioned to Ben on the phone, we build websites in Squarespace as it’s easy to use, allows for beautiful creative possibilities whilst being an intuitive visually led platform. This means the website is easy to manage and can be adapted as technologies advance and change.
We’ve used Squarespace for 8 years and have really enjoyed embracing the new features and possibilities the platform has presented as it’s developed over the years.
Below are some links to recent Squarespace builds we’ve made for churches and Christian organisations:
*Please note on occasion the managers of these sites can take them in a different direction than we would advise, but that’s their prerogative!
We’ve delivered christian projects with:
Catalyst Vineyard (Scotland), Yorkshire Baptist Association, St Helen’s Parish Church, Bookham Baptist, UCAN, Church of England, The Well Sheffield, City Church, STC Sheffield, Golddigger Trust, Soulroots, Arise, Together for Sheffield, Ascend, CPO, Everyone Disciple One, Lancing Foodbank, Deeper, Beauchief Baptist Church, Streets of Light, Philadelphia Students, Break the Chains, Form, Go Fest, Upper Room - Four Square & more.
Training and Consultancy
We’ve delivered training and keynotes at Premier Digital, UCAN conferences, Create Conference, Fresh Streams, the Accidental Church Communicators Conference & we founded and manage the Church Comms Collective.
2 Options
We suggest that there are two approaches with your website…
One
We migrate your existing website across into Squarespace and take design influence (structure and features) from Manchester Vineyard church (and other site designs you like). We would also suggest features and layouts that would complement your content.
This would also involve restructured navigation where required, and we stress, it would be a beautiful step forward for your current site.
We would provide training on handover.
You would then be empowered to further adapt the written copy, images and reorder pages as required to shape it into what best reflects the church going forward (quick wins, and changes would be made in the build if elements provided - such as using new media assets and written copy)
BEST FOR:
Getting the website done quickly - we would produce this by the end of June 2023.
Less financial investment required approx £1,100-£1,500.
Two
We start from the ground up. You would provide written copy and images in advance and we build a new website based on where you are going without drawing on the current website.
This would be a more thorough approach and involve a schedule of development that all involved in the project would need to work towards in order to deliver the project.
Whilst we would also provide training on handover, we would go live with a website that was totally invigorated and there would be no immediate changes required.
BEST FOR:
A detailed and methodical approach.
If you need help with scoping the communication of the vision and direction of the church.
We would aim to deliver this project my the end of September.
Investment would be approx £3,500-£5,000.
Additional Services
From graphic design to video and photography we can provide these services or link you up with a recommend provider.
Specifically regarding photography we have an Edinburgh based photographer called Adrain who is on fire for Jesus and loves capturing authentic church communities.
Adrian took this picture for example at The Well Sheffield.
A half day of photography and photo edits produced for use on the website and other communications would be £400.
Next steps
Agree to a preferred approach.
We invoice 50% at the beginning of the project (50% on final hand over).
Approach timeline agreed and we commence the build!

Thanks for giving us the opportunity to work with you.
We’d love to do so, and play a small part in sewing into this Kingdom project for Edinburgh Vineyard and the people of your incredible city.
Blessings,
