Arise March 2026
Hey Giles, apologies for not getting this over sooner.
This doc relates to providing Arise with assistance through January to the end of March.
I think we can then explore the prospect of a longer term commitment following on from that and seeing how I work with the new team members.
As part of this season I can commit to being in the office but also think we need to consider the project deliverables within the time scales. There is more than enough to fill a full time role and I’m needing to consider what can be done with one day per week and this is also dependant on whether there is access to additional team (Mikes capacity and also Tom etc). I’ve outlined these these things in the next section.
Priorities (not in rank order)
God Lives update - Phase 1 is a design and content refresh, with scping plan to develop tools such as ‘find a church’ and explore ways we can make the platform suitable for the Gospel Delivery Project and other entities as the primary call to action for non christians who encounter Arise communications. X2 days
Arise Website - Ensure is ready for Arise March, train Mike as needed, check content and design are aligned. X1 day
2026 Promo - Start of January, Interview based promo, casting vision with cutaways. Tom to edit/shoot? Ben to advise on creative approach? X2 days
2027 Promo - Plan concept and production plan for primary video, teaser and 5 supporting mini teaser reels for distribution in early ’27. This will include filming prayer walks, interview pieces. Could involve Tom in delivery. X8-12 days
Creative and comms advice on Gospel Delivery Project X1 day
Print - Work with Mike to develop print materials in line with white label package for replication elsewhere. This will depend on what print assets are needed for 2026 - booklets, flyers, etc X4 days?
Testimony/story videos - Capture testimonies at all Arise March events that can be used to promote other Arise events through the year. This will effectively be within the Promo shoot but will need Admin time from me or an Arise team member to line up people for this.
Photos/vids for GDP - potential need to take portraits of testimony people for the Gospels, edit time and potentially video testimonies to populate God Lives X2 days
Mike Training - Can I suggest time to talk through the comms with Mike, guiding principles to help him flourish Equivalent of X1 day spread over the months
My estimate for work above is around 21-25 days to deliver all these elements. In discussion with other Arise teams it maybe easier to determine what the priorities are, what Mike can take on, Tom if also part of the outsourced team?
There are twelve working weeks until the end of March (I’m not around for February Half Term). Which means we can probably deliver on 50-60% of the priorities list, but there might be more that can be done once I understand Mike/Toms involvement.
Investment
Since the conception of Arise my day rate was £275 and I haven’t raised my rates with Arise since 2020.
My rates as of 2026 will be £325 per day for Arise.
For reference, I charge £800 per day for video shoots and £600 per day for photography/consultancy in secular spaces.
